Canon MG2520 on 10.11.6 After printing a couple of things, it stops b4 printing. Service # said I have to pay 4 drivers 10.11.6? WTH?

You should not have to pay for drivers, they can be downloaded from Canon's web site.
By any chance are you printing from a trial version of some app?
