Lost My Hamster?

So me and my roommate lost our male panda hamster. He s been pretty quiet lately but we know where he was last heard. We just got a female hamster like 10 minutes ago (she s mine while the male belongs to the roommate). What are the chances of the male catching the scent of a female and coming out to check things out?

I, personally, don't think it would work! But...

Try it, make sure you watch the male hamster though, as if he does find the female, they may start fighting. So be fully prepared!

Also, try shaking the hamster food around as it may come to the sound. And if you don't find it, leave a bowl of hamster food and water and watch it for as long as possible.

    Good luck:)

I lost my hamster once and we found it at the back of the freezer ! Try checking that or leaving a food trail around the house

You might try to lure it out in the open with treats, the notion a female might work may be if she is in heat, otherwise I wouldn't expect much results.

I trained my hamster to a treat bell, that sure comes in handy, they learn the bell means a treat, they come running.
