Cat ingested Hartz flea medicine?
About an hour ago I put about half a tube of hartz flea ultragaurd plus on my cat. She began running around right after, I looked up the symptoms and sure enough the outcome wasn't good, Hartz is horrible. Im now terrified for her life. She began LICKING it off, I read that it's important to not get it on their coat but rather just skin, some still got around, I did place it between her shoulder blades but she was still able to lick after scratching the area. I then tried to calm her and with a wet rag was able to wipe a bit off, but I dont think enough, she got aggressive and I let her be. She is now in another room, huddled. Ive placed food and WATER near her. And im continuously checking up on her.
Ill continue to check up on her and if anything I will head to the vet first thing tomorrow! May I please receive some advice? What else can I do? I wont be using Hartz anymore!

When I was younger and much stupider, Hartz flea powder killed two of my cats. Hartz is dangerous - I've heard of cats becoming sick just from Hartz flea collars. Get your cat to a vet ASAP.

Put her in the tub (close the bathroom door) and WASH it off. Too many pets were killed by Hartz and Sergeants flea/tick meds, there are numberous lawsuits against them every year for it.
The point is to get it OFF her as much as possible. By tomorrow it'll be too late.

Give her a bath with any dish soap and lots of warm water. This is critical. And go to the emergency vet now and take the package of that horrid poison with you. You potentially do not have the luxury of time here - she has been poisoned and the faster you get her to to the vet the more likely the outcome will be good. Take your credit card as emergency vets require payment up front.

Why would you not go to an emergency vet? This cat could be DEAD by morning.
How the F did your cat lick it off? It was supposed to be applied between the shoulder blades.
