Will this success allow me to quality to work in the US?

Ok, So ive asked a few times and have had a lot of negative comments that are trying to be ''brutally honest'' but actually just sound like they have no dreams or ambitions. I totally understand that US visas are not that flexible but there has to be a way, even if its not that common. I want to and have always wanted to work in stop motion animation, My dream job is working at Laika as a Puppet/set fabricator. I don't have a BA degree and more than likely wont ever have one as there is no sufficient courses in my home country Australia. Instead, I am becoming as self taught as I can whilst doing short courses and I plan on doing a short course in the UK soon. My plan is to become the best in Australia (which isn't going to be hard because its not a big commodity here) I am currently working on a short film and plan on creating another short film after to enter into some film competitions. Say I win, I get some awards, My names start circulating and I land a job in the UK preferably at Aardman or 3mills studio (creators of Shaun the sheep, corpse bride, fantastic mr.fox) I become assistant of a department, hopefully 5 or so years later I become head of the department. Would this make me eligible for a Working visa in the USA then? non-immigrant or whatever.

(yes, yes... im sure youre all thinking ''as if that's going to happen'' but it is... it will..)

MAYBE. Is all anyone can really say.

You have selected a limit Field for possible jobs. YOU are not only person in the world that wants something like this.

Of course winning some awards in an international competition will improve your chances. Many Hundreds compete. Only a few win.

Ten years from now who knows what this field might offer. It could grow or just die away a forgotten art.

Good Luck you have selected a profession with a limited potential for jobs. You will need to be very good to get them. For best chance. THINK OUTSIDE the box for other uses for this talent.

Many Many Millions want to move to other places. Your objective is to be better than them. Not just getting this or that thing on YOUR list of accomplishments.

Having dreams and ambitions is not unique to you, however that is exactly how they always stay unless they have some reality and yours don't... your 'what if'.....is not reality even your 'do a course in the UK' .... "Say I win"

So in 30 yrs time IF you are world famous go to person Puppet/set fabricator maybe then, you will have to look at the criteria at that time for visa requirements.......... or you stop with the US dream or you fit the criteria to get a work visa, which means a change in your 'dream job' and into a STEM degree and STEM career

The regulations define a "specialty occupation" as requiring theoretical and practical application of a body of highly specialized knowledge in a field of human endeavor including but not limited to biotechnology, chemistry, architecture, engineering, mathematics, physical sciences, social sciences, medicine and health, education, law, accounting, business specialties, theology, and the arts, and requiring the attainment of a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent as a minimum

You need at least a Bachelor's degree to qualify for a US work visa.

You are a wannabe. Like millions of others around the world. Like millions of American teens. You are not special. You will not get a visa to do something that millions want to do.

So go ahead and do what you say you're going to do and see what happens. That's the only way to find out.
