Is 22 too old to be living in University Halls?

Hello all,

I am starting university next September and I am planning to live in Halls for the first year. I am currently 21, however when I start I will be 22.... so I was wondering if it's too old for Uni Halls? I will be studying Physical Education so I'm guessing a big majority of the people will be 18/19.

    No, it's more like being older will require you to adjust in general to being around younger people in your classes, and it'll broader impact your social life for a variety of reasons (including the drinking age). I don't think people really care about a few year's difference in terms of who they live with; if anything, older people are more mature and better to live in shared spaces with in my experience, but you will just have a lot of different perspectives than people straight out of high school.

    No, but it's getting up there. I was 22 the last time I lived in a uni dorm.

    22 isn't too old. There will be others your age.

    some universities have halls for students who are a bit older. those tend to be apartment style.
