If the ball is pulled farther to the side so that the cord makes a 8 ∘ angle, what force is required to hold the ball?

40 = m*g*sin(5°)
m*g = 40/sin(5°)
New force = mg*sin(8°) = 40 / sin(5°) * sin(8°) = 63.8 N
