How do you know when you are in love?

I know that I asked myself that many times when I was dating. How do you know when you are in love? I know that when I fell head over heels in love, especially with my first college boyfriend, I felt this way:

1. You do whatever you can to impress him. After all, he is really special to you, so how you act and look is very important to you.

2. He is constantly on your mind. You might daydream about him when you aren't together. I remember sitting in class and thinking about my guy.

3. You are very eager to make him happy.

4. You talk about him all of the time with anybody who will listen to you. My female friends heard about my boyfriend a lot.

5. You might look at other guys, but YOUR guy may be the hottest, smartest, or most handsome. You may become "blind" when it comes to other guys. My first college boyfriend was heading for medical school when he graduated to become a doctor. I worshiped him for his good looks and intelligence. He was my one and only, and I couldn't possibly think of having anyone else.

6. You feel a sense of euphoria when you are with him. I remember walking around all of the time in the clouds and smiling.

7. He seems like a perfect guy. When I met my guy, I thought he was perfect. I even wanted to marry him one day.

8. He might become an obsession. You want to be with him all of the time. You may suffer from separation anxiety when he's gone. You might also feel jealous when he is with others, especially other girls.

9. You may feel out of control because you feel so much passion for him.

When I have a passion for something/someone and cannot stop thinking about it, I am in love.

If she brings me coffee and cake, I'm in love.
