Alternatives to braces ? Help please?
My problem is my top canine teeth - they stick forward and it looks bad… thats the only issue. Except that my top and bottom canines are sharp but i can ask the dentist to file them. I dont need a mouth full of braces for two misaligned teeth. Invisalign is too expensive for my parents to buy, and i would have to wait 3 years til im 16 to work.(im 13 now.) please help and give me ideas!?

I understand your pain. I had braces because I had 2 snaggled lateral incisors (like Kirsten Dunst). I didn't wear the retainers, so the snaggleteeth came back.
I later got veneers to fix the problem, and my teeth have been straight ever since.
So basically, consult with a cosmetic dentist and see if veneers, crowns, or (and this is the nuclear option) implants will work.
For me, braces were a complete waste of time and money. I didn't want them in the first place, but my parents didn't listen.

There are no good alternatives to braces or invisalign, that's why they are so expensive.
If it bothers you so much it's worth it and you should start saving money as soon as possible, even if it's only a little at first.
You can start saving a little by eating out less and using coupons, and then you can save even more when you can save even more when you do get a job.

those are the only two options to straighten your teeth. braces aren't so bad. if you don't want either you will have to live with crooked teeth.
