Good colors for hazel/green eyes?

So my eyes are normally hazel, but sometimes they look more green than hazel. I guess sometimes the brown fades away, then comes back and all that lol. Anyways, normally I use neutral eye shadows and black eyeliner when I do makeup. I'm just wondering what colors look good for green eyes and hazel eyes? I have a party coming up and want to look a lil extra fancy, since I haven't been to a party in a couple of years.

    Purple and red really make hazel/green eyes pop.

    Purple tones look amazing on green and hazel eyes and the purple will compliment the green in your eyes so much more.

    Purple, especially if you use an eggplant color with smoky eyes, will really make them pop.

    Red, purple and brown, usually.
