Ways to dress more feminine?
I want to dress and look more feminine, because it's appealing to me. But I have a hard time picking out good, attractive clothes that look feminine. And when I try them on, there's either too much boobage, it's to short or tight for my taste, or I look like a box. I want to look classy and elegant and graceful, I don't wanna wear revealing, super tight clothes that look weird on me.
I know that right, more revealing clothes are in. But im not into trends. Where can I find good, elegant, modest feminine clothing?
2 AnswersFashion & Accessories4 years agoMet a guy online, planning to meet him in person? Help?
So I made an online profile for a chatting site, but I forgot about it. It's less of a chat room and more of you and another person use the site as an email back and forth. Well I logged into my personal email and saw i had a message from someone on this site that I forgot. Long story short, he's such a sweetie. We've spoken on Skype, on text, on Facebook, on Instagram... I like him so much. Recently he asked to meet me in person, but he wants to come to me. I spoke to my parents (I'm 20 but nervous) and they said he could come to their house, as long as they were home. But I'm nervous. Ive never met someone I've only spoke with online. Is it awkward? How can we make sure this works out? I'm sure I'm panicking for nothing.
2 AnswersSingles & Dating4 years agoHelp me find good detoxes?
I'm trying to lose weight, and I do lose weight rather quick (I started a diet a couple weeks ago and lost about a pants size and two pants sizes) but I want to detox to help clean toxins out and really rev up my metabolism. What do you recommend? I've tried a straight water detox and that just made me bloat and feel very uncomfortable.
2 AnswersDiet & Fitness4 years ago'Inappropriate' behavior between me and my managers...? What do you think?
So where I work, I am in contact with my managers constantly, as it should be most places. Well, since we work together, we've become close. So my managers and I will high-five, pat each other on the back, fist bump, compliment each other, joke around with each other. But customers have complained to the store manager, saying that my direct managers are acting inappropriate towards the workers, even though it doesn't seem bad in any way. Do you think the way my managers act is inappropriate? I really find it nice that my managers are so personable with their workers.
10 AnswersEtiquette4 years agoStrange thoughts and dreams about ex?
So I dated someone when I was young, and he was quite abusive. He assaulted me sexually on numerous occasions, called me stupid, grabbed me and hit me so hard I bruised on multiple occasions. Above all, he was a grade A douche bag.
But recently, he came back into my life unfortunately (his family is close to my family) and I'm having weird dreams and thoughts about him. It's almost like I miss being with him. Which, I know for a fact I don't. But these thoughts and dreams remind me of the few moments he wasn't abusing me, and how he seemed so nice... Gosh. Could they be because I've been single and a little lonely for a little while? I really don't like thinking about him at all, especially in a way that makes me wanna get back into a relationship with him.
2 AnswersDream Interpretation4 years agoVegan makeup and body care brands?
I'm transitioning to vegan, and I'd like to know of some vegan makeup/bodily care brands. I know of WetNWild and that's about it. Thanks!
3 AnswersMakeup4 years agoHelp me become vegan?
Ive always been against veganism, until recently when I did some extended research on the way animals are treated in general. I understand everyone has rights, and I respect everyone. But I, personally, wish to become vegan. But with all the things like vegan makeup, food, clothes, shampoos and conditioners... I don't know where to start. Its overwhelming. I dont want to jump in and become malnourished or anything. So help me out, please! And thank you!
3 AnswersVegetarian & Vegan4 years agoI think he might like me, but there's a small issue?
So yesterday I went to a little gathering of some friends, when I met a guy there that was kind of cute. He seemed super interested in talking to me, and I liked talking to him. But later on I found out a close friend of mine really likes him, and is convinced he likes her too, though he didn't even say two words to her the entire duration of the gathering. He came and sat down next to me and showed me cute videos of his pet (which was adorable, since I had informed him that I am a big animal nut in a conversation prior) and she seemed all mad at me. Later she told me to back off because they were pretty much dating, and she didn't want me to be heartbroken. But, again, he barely spoke to her. They've known each other for a while too (I only know that from information I got from her cousin, who is also a good friend of mine)
I don't know how to interpret what was going on, I'm just really confused. I think he might like me... But could he have just been playing me? Or was she just jealous that he was paying attention to me and not her? Any and all opinions and interpretations of this welcome
4 AnswersSingles & Dating4 years agoHow to explain to my 13 year old sis why I have privileges she doesn't?
So I'm almost 20, out of school, with my own car that's paid off, my own job, and I am rarely home anymore. I live with my parents btw. But when I am, it's kind of tense. My thirteen year old sis wants to be like me, able to come and go whenever I want. She constantly says things like "but she can!" "if she can I should be able to!" etc. She's bent on the fact that there's no difference between 13 and 20, despite the fact that there is a big difference. Mom has tried time and time again to explain that I'm an adult, she's a child and our lives are two totally different things. But it just doesn't work. So mom has asked me to see if maybe I can get through to her, as I have been able to in the past. But this is uncharted territory for me. What can I do to help her understand that I'm grown, and these aren't privileges, they're just what being an adult is like?
5 AnswersFamily4 years agoThings to switch up my makeup game?
So I have been in a little bit of a makeup rug for a while. All I do right now is the following:
Moisturize and prime
Foundation
Conceal
Powder
Light contour
Blush
Prime eyes
Cream eyeshadow
Bronzer in the crease
Mascara
Brow gel
And that's it :/ it's so boring haha. How can I spruce this up a little bit? Also I'm 19, hazel eyes, blonde hair and pale skin. So if you can recommend maybe colors too, that'd be fun.
5 AnswersMakeup4 years agoIs my friend a little too accepting of her boyfriend?
So i have a friend who just started dating this guy. I was all excited for her, knowing how lonely she was and how she needed comfort from her insane and abusive family. But, recently she's told me about him and now I'm not so sure about this guy.
Evidently, he's 20 years old, uses a fake ID to buy alcohol, smokes weed and is constantly between jobs. He isn't stable mentally, as she told me he frequently gets panicked and has outbursts of anger if she even mentions a male name. I guess he about had an episode when she was talking about me (I'm a girl but I go by Kris), and she had to reassure him that I'm a girl and not gonna steal her away. But then she'll say how 'cute' he is, how much he must love her already, how amazing he is to be around and how she's willing to overlook those 'minor' imperfections, as she calls them.
I don't know... Maybe I'm looking too much into this. But is she too accepting of him?
3 AnswersSingles & Dating4 years agoIs this a good/healthy diet?
I'm trying to be healthy. It's been a struggle, but I think I nailed it. I just kind of want your opinions, and maybe any advice you can give to make it better.
Breakfast: oatmeal and a fruit/yogurt (normally I just eat a banana though)
Lunch: Meat, rice and beans (or chili, soup, fish etc with lots of green like salad or broccoli)
Supper: Whatever the family has, unless it's fried. Then I make fish with a veggie medly with a piece of fruit and maybe a dinner roll.
Snacks: I can have one sweet snack, like a cookie or brownie, and then normally I eat almonds, a spoonfull of peanut butter, or an apple or banana.
I've cut out processed foods, overly sugary stuff. I don't drink soda or juice. I make everything I eat (well, with the exception of the peanut butter). All I drink is tea, coffee and water.
So what do you think?
4 AnswersDiet & Fitness4 years agoGood colors for hazel/green eyes?
So my eyes are normally hazel, but sometimes they look more green than hazel. I guess sometimes the brown fades away, then comes back and all that lol. Anyways, normally I use neutral eye shadows and black eyeliner when I do makeup. I'm just wondering what colors look good for green eyes and hazel eyes? I have a party coming up and want to look a lil extra fancy, since I haven't been to a party in a couple of years.
5 AnswersMakeup4 years agoHelp me not totally hate my job?
So currently I work at Walmart (very unfortunate but I'm not in a position to work elsewhere) and I'm miserable there. I walk into work and get a sinking feeling that doesn't go away till I clock out. I literally get excited when i get to clock out. I smile and laugh and it just makes me happy. I hate working at walmart so much. How can I stop hating my job?
1 AnswerOther - Careers & Employment4 years agoFriends always talk about me behind my back?
It's kind of a strange thing. So I have very few friends, and the friends I have aren't all that close, especially as of recent.
Whenever I hang out with them, they ask me to leave so they can talk about something private, and admit it's about me.
This is really confusing to me. If they have something to say about me, WI wish they'd just say it to my face instead. What can I do about them doing this?
2 AnswersFriends4 years agoHow to fend off loneliness?
So I've decided I'm going to remain single for a while. Relationships haven't gone well for me, so I've decided to say screw it. I'm done.
But the issue is that I randomly get super lonely and depressed... And it gets to the point that I crave even unhealthy people and relationships, just to fill a void that's been here forever. I don't know what to do.... Help?
3 AnswersSingles & Dating4 years agoWays to grow your hair faster?
I know this is a question asked a lot, but my hair actually does grow quite slow (about a fifth of an inch or less a month) and I'm trying to grow it out to donate. Naturally I'm getting a little impatient haha. So are there any ways to help it grow faster?
1 AnswerHair4 years agoMy car squeaks when I drive when it's first started up?
So I have an old car (2004 Chevy Malibu to be specific) that I bought off of a friend. He took it in to get inspected before I bought it off of him, and the guy that inspected it gave it a clean bill of health. But now that it's colder, it's developed a squeak that only seems to happen when I first start it up and start driving. Once it's been out for a minute or two, the squeaking subsides. But it's kind of weird... Am I being too paranoid about it? This is my first car lol. It only seems to happen when I have to break, if that helps any.
2 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs4 years agoWhat can I do about these nightmares?
I dated a guy who abused me, used me and treated me like dirt. With all the stuff he did, and actual proof, he didn't get in any trouble and walked away unscathed. Fortunately for me he moved away, or else I'm not sure I'd know how to handle myself.
But I'm having nightmares of one of the nights that he messed with me, and it's so bad I'm getting little to no sleep now. Is there any way to stop these nightmares of that psychopath?
2 AnswersPsychology4 years agoHow to get over this?
So I have had a best guy friend for many years. He helped me through thick and thin, and is truly a great person. Honestly he's amazing.
He had been into me for a time, but I had decided I wasn't ready for a romantic relationship. Now I'm over all the issues I had been having when he asked me out (failed relationship, family issues, death of a close friend, etc) and things have calmed down, he's found someone else he's keen on. I'm very happy for him, and I wish him nothing but the best. But now I feel upset for myself, which is really selfish of me. How do I get over this feeling? It's like, now that he's dating someone, I wanna be with him. But I don't want them to break up, because they're so cute and happy. What can I do?
