Can someone become a navy seal with a ged?

Im not going to bore you with my education issues i just want a straightforward answer. So my question is this. Can someone with a ged (tier 2) join the navy (i know they can) but become a navy seal or would they only be able to have a on deck job. Also i read that you cant join the marines with a ged, if it matters id rather join the corps.

So you're saying that you would rather join the Marine Corps with any job than join the Navy and be a SEAL?

    Ha. Ok...

You can join any branch with a GED and at least 15 college credits. If the Navy is waiving the college requirement, that's news to me.

You need to qualify for the Navy or Marines first.

You need a HS Diploma or GED (AND 15 college credits), Clean criminal record, decent health record and to pass the ASVAB test.

Given your history of questions... that's doubtful-

no. NO branch will take GEDs alone. they ALL require 15 100 level college credits( taken in person, not online)

furthermore, SO by and of itself requires a HSD period, they will not take anything less, so even if you can enlist with that GED+ college, you cannot be a SeAL. .

sure, go earn 15 semester hours of college credit

which makes the GED tier I

If you are in the Navy and meet other qualifications, you can apply to go through BUDS. Yes.
