First off im not trying to be a dick but you need to have your facts straight before answering, a year old knowledge wont apply here. Secondly i have a new tiny phone so sorry if i misspell, its very hard to correct it all. Okay so i went to a army recruiter and he told me all i need is my ged (because i havent graduated high school and im not going to go to deep into it right now) i need to lose a bit of weight and bring him my medical records. Btw i cant see the writting anymore because of the keyboard. The weight for the army at my height (6ft) is 200. I didnt get to talk to a marine corps recruiter because there office was closed. This came as a suprise to me because i had emailed the army and a man told me i had to go to community college to earn semester hours to be considered a high school gradute for enlistment purposes. The recruiter said i didnt have to and the requirements are always changing. Anyways whats the deal with the marines? Is there anything extra that i have to do with a ged? I know you have to score a bit higher on the asvab with a ged, if it matters im trying to go infantry rifleman 0311. Information for sites such as military.com is all outdated and wrong. Thank you for your time, also if some are confused about the whole ged thing (heard you cant get it when your over 18 not sure if that’s true) im 17 turning 18 in 6 months. My heart is set on the marine corps but i feel like id have a better chance at joining the army.

do they tell the cops and border patrol or do they keep quiet ?

Okay so im not gonna bore you with the details, never bin good with school, got suspended or whatever the temp ban from school is called about a day before the end of 8thy grade but it still counts as completed. So that was years ago and im 17, turning 18 in december. I have a job where i do demo (if your wondering) but i plan on buying a laptop at the end of the month to start home schooling so i can learn enough to get my ged which as some dont know is now accepted in the army and marines which happens to be my two choices, looking for a combat mos like 11b or 0311 thats all i want i know you have to score a bit higher on the marines asvab to get in with a ged it doesnt matter. But heres my real question. Should i talk to a recruiter now or when im working on it? As far as questions about about the marines or army that a recruiter would lie on go, i have a brother in the army and a retired uncle who was in the marines and marsoc so they can help me with that.

So i was working on atvs and cars today with my dad and i realized i really really REALLY love doing mechanical stuff like that. But what i mainly what to do in the marines is be a rifleman go in combat etc etc. How do i go about this? Do i have to score higher on the asvab?

Im not going to bore you with my education issues i just want a straightforward answer. So my question is this. Can someone with a ged (tier 2) join the navy (i know they can) but become a navy seal or would they only be able to have a on deck job. Also i read that you cant join the marines with a ged, if it matters id rather join the corps.

Okay sorry if this sounds ******* retarded but a while back i was watching a marine boot camp video and the narrator said every recruit must take two tests in order to progress into the real boot camp ****. Is thiis true? Iv bin looking for god damn months and it ****** pisses me off. I asked my brother whos in the army if he had some sort of tests in basic training and he said only blood work or whatever and a test to see if he knows what ranks are what. But he doesnt remember the name. Any marines know what im talkn about? Im trying to prepare myself for everything andd im not about to get stopped by some stupid **** like a paper test.

I know i can with parents consent but do i need both or only one ? My mom doesnt want another son in the military but my dads fine with it.

I remember always going to a small building that was a doctors office, almost every week or so id get "shots" in my elbows and knees, i was born 2 months pre mature, was black and blue when i was born (strangled from the cord) and had to stay in a big box thing for months before i could be brought home. So that made me sick all the time and i thought thats why i went there. But a active heathly child getting "shots" in both knees and elbows every week seems a tad odd.

Okay so not to sound dumb or nerdy but im askin this just out of random thoughs and curiosity. What if we had a past life and were married, would we go to heaven and see our wife and kids ? (Example: used to live in the medieval days and died in war). Also what about those who remarry? If you die and go to what ever heaven you believe in are you condemning your ex wife or husband to be alone for all eternity? Maybe they get reborn and its like a prossec. Whats your take on this ? Okay so i was raised in a Christian house as a kid, i went to church and stuff. My parents told me to ask jesus into my heart and except him as the lord and savior, i did and nothing worked, it felt like i was talking to a wall. When i was around 14 i found out im norse (viking ancestry). And so i thought that would be my religion (asatru, odinist etc etc ). for a while i felt like i was actually talking to something real. So i told my brother whos older then me and he became on odinist to, he says that vidar or valdir (whatever its spelt) is the god he chose, and that he spoke to him. I looked all of this up and it said to try and worship a god thats similar to yourself, so it turned out to be odin, but no matter how many religions i pick, no matter how many gods i choose i dont get any holy or spiritual experiences, a while ago i heard my mom and aunt talking about ancestors and crap and they said that they had no german ancestry, (Vikings are from manly around Germany, Sweden etc.) And this kinda ****** with me, because i feel that being norse is a big part of the religion and well... i dont ****** know anymore, i have Celtic ancestors to but i never got into it because theres to many ****** gods lol. What about you ? Do you think there is some type of god ? This really bugs the **** outta me. P.s no bitchy comments.

So i never was very good in school, i hated the teachers and they hated me, i wasnt good in math or science, i cant even figure out what 4×6 is... but iv always had a passion for the military so i decided that im going to join the marine corps. But i cant do home school since i know i dont have to do it at my home, and im even worse at regular school but i heard of a high school about compter programming and stuff. Do you know if i get my diploma from a place like that, it will be for computer crap only ? Will it disqualify me from the military? Or will i be okay?. I plan to go to a school like that and practice the asvab (on apps and books) for years and work out so i get in shape, is that good? Please let me know if you had the same problem, (and if it matters i turn 16 in December)

So i want to join the usmc but i cant figure out what i want to do, i was thinking infantry rifleman or machine gunner. Sorry if i got that wrong im really tired). But i think i want to join the navy seals after my time with the usmc is up. I kinda forgot what im asking here. But is it possible ? I dont want to mess up and get the wrong job. Also its bin a life long dream to be in ths military (especially special forces). I dont want to be old and have a regret of never trying.

Iv wanted to be in the military since i was 4, and i will admit, at 12 (like other kids did at that age) i wanted attention like a loser, and i went to counseling for depression, but it was also because my parents fought alot, but i was wondering if that would be a problem. And iv never bin arrested or anything like that. But i was never good at school stuff so thats what im worried about on the asvab, any tips ? and got in a fight or two but thats not my fault, so i started being home schooled, will they except me as i was schooled at home ?

So im 16 and i have always had a thing for older women. I dont know why but iv always bin more mature around women older then me, like 30. But im talking to this beautiful 22 year old girl and, well.... the heart wants what the heart wants. and im not talking about making love, and i know it would be "rape" according to the law. But im talking about love, i think age is just a number for the most part but i wanted to know what you think. And if your just gonna judge go somewhere else, i dont need the bullshit.

It made me feel weird. I dont have a girlfriend but i dreamed i did and it just started like hey we have a baby girl, that i never saw. Idk but the rest is just alot of lolly gaggin. I swore off of relationships since iv bin cheated on alot or it never worked out, i literally felt my heart hurt when her ex told me that she was cheating on the both of us. Him and i are friends now lol. And the sad part is im only 15 and swore to never love a girl again, cant have the kids i wanted... but anyways that dream felt real and i love dreams like that but do any of you know what it means ? The dream seemed like it lasted for hours.

Im 15 and kinda am worried about dating and stuff. Im a dude and i always was a shy kid, it took me all year in 7th grade JUST to ask for a girls number. My armpits sweat when im nervous so i want to avoid that. I had only one kinda REAL relationship. I met her on the dating app meetme. I met her once in person, just for a few because she was at a friends house and her friends parents weren't there. We held hands and talked, hugged before i left. Then her dad goes thru her phone and looks at ALL the messages. He hates me and i did nothing wrong. Usually i get pissed at parents that try to do that but i was polite and nice, you know tge whole yes sir yes ma,am stuff. But he said that she can only date at 16 and he's mormon. She doesn't want to be. But i find out that the dude i was friends with on there was her ex, apparently she dumped him for me, told me she was single, i got to talk to her again and she didnt fight for me. But my question is how can i not be nervous, gain some confidence, and get out there. Btw im home school because of all the school fights (not my fault), and i dont have much to any friends or a way to get around. No siblings advice, sisters out of town and brothers in the army.
