Winterforce or Blizzak?

I have a 2015 jeep cherokee latitude v6 with Firestone Destination LE tires that dont seem to be doing very well in the snow and ice, my local tire shop sells blizzak and winterforce and wanted opinions.

For the money the Bridgestone Blizzak WS80 is hard to beat. Highly rated and reviewed in almost all test categories. As is the somewhat lesser quality Bridgestone Blizzak WS60 model. Which of the two is your tire retailer offering? Hopefully the WS80.

In your post you are mentioning two different Firestone models, the Winterforce and the Destination LE. The Winterforce is a good tire for the money as well but it is not nearly as good of quality as the Bridgestone. The Destination LE is a Highway tire, not a winter tire. It is certainly a very capable tire but is not designed necessarily to be used in hard winter conditions.

Go with the Bridgestones. You will be guaranteed top quality if you do.

I only have experience with Blizzaks and Michelin X-ice. Both are very good on snow and ice.

Entry level ancient technology or the latest premium technology - to which would you rather trust your life.
