If all religion was ended, wouldn't there be no more reasons for people to hate and kill other people of other religions?

Religion was ended in the soviet union and 20 million people were purged

Religion was ended in Red China and 60 Million people were purged (so far)

Religion was ended in Cambodia and tens of thousands were purged

(and the list goes on)

So ending religion really doesn't solve the problem

the problem is people

If you have debris in your water.would you stop drinking water.we need water to survive.we will Always need Jehovah and his commandments.before the government turn on religion God will make sure that all will be drinking his holy water.(Bible/water)

If all religion was ended we would still have sin and people would still kill and hate one another. Religion makes little or no difference 99.9% of all so called Christians are yet in there sins and so to are all the people of other religions.

People hate and kill other people for all kinds of reasons. Doing it explicitly over religion is rather rare. Even when the two people are of different religions, the conflict is more than likely spawned from more mundane/political disputes.

Well how can there be people "of other religions" once you end religion??

This is like asking, "if we eliminate all non-whites, wouldn't that end racism?"

It is true that some religions are a source of violence. Islam is one and the prime example. But mankind is perfectly capable of formulating non-religious reasons to commit violence. For example, the violence against Trump campaign events by folks within the Democratic Party. That had nothing to do with religion. But that had everything to do with corruption and naked lust for power. Black Lives Matters fomented the killing of police across the nation. What did that have to do with religion? Yesterday, violence broke out across the nation at many malls as shoppers were exchanging gifts or taking advantage of bargains. What did that have to do with belief in God? It is man that is the source of violence because he refuses to submit to the will of God, the only God, which is the God of the Bible. Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid" (John 14:27). If people would get right with Jesus, there would be peace in this world.

People will always find reasons and rationalizations for hating and killing others. It's human nature. Religion is a convenient tool, but not the only one.

You must be a theist, "IF" all religion was ended, there wouldn't be other religions to hate einstein.

Religions are simply one means mankind uses in an attempt to display their superiority over others. We are tribal in nature and will always fine a reason to believe we are better in some way than that tribe in the next cave.

Not all religions promote or tolerate violence. Jehovah's Witnesses are known worldwide for their peaceful and loving lifestyles. They will never go to war or kill as Jesus said: "he who takes the sword will perish by the sword".
