Trump calls on prosperity preachers for his innauguration. Lefties are livid. Question is where in the Bible does it say God wants us poor?

Leftists are always livid. Read the Old Testament and see that there were many greats who were wealthy. Solomon was the richest man in the world.

I'll tell you my biggest problem with prosperity preachers. Actually I have several big problems with them. First and foremost these prosperity preachers are riding around in limos flying in private jets and living in mansions while half of the people in the congregation are starving and don't have enough money to feed their family. Second of all I went to one of the prosperity churches one time and everything in the Bible they turn into a money issue. Seriously 66 books do not all talk about money and money is not the primary focus of the Bible. But of course they make it the focus of the Bible. Next you go to the New Testament and it talks about watching out for people who love money. in particular false teachers. The whole new testament is full of scriptures about false teachers. Put that all together and the prosperity preachers are dangerous to the body of Christ

And where in the bible does it say that God gives money to people if they send their hard earned money to "prosperity preachers"? You seem like an otherwise intelligent fellow, which makes it all the more difficult to understand why you don't realize that those preachers are con-men who make themselves wealthy by bilking the ignorant and the desperate out of their earnings. The fact that you support such preachers reveals you to to be at the lowest branch of humanity, seemingly without morality, reason, empathy, understanding or spirit. You sir, if you support the prosperity gospel, are a foul, soulless, faithless soul and devoid of human decency.

Matthew 6:

"23But if your vision is poor, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness! 24No one can serve two masters: Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money. 25Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?"

There are many such sayings of Jesus, and Christians claim Jesus is God. It says it flat out- you can't serve both money and God, it's one or the other, not both.

I've seen Paula White's messages. They seem quite empty and void of the gospel to me.

But she is married to Jonathan Cain from Journey, so I guess that's sort of cool...though she's been married like three times and had an alleged fling with Benny Hinn.

It's easier for a rich man to enter a camel than to enter a poor man

...or something.

God wants us to help the poor.

If Trump saved the life of a baby or puppy, atheists and leftists would still find something to complain about...

Liberals like to take "blessed are the poor in spirit ..." and drop the "in spirit".

Trump must sniff my stinky panties if he wants to get saved.
