Jehovah's Witnesses conventions are a large scale version of the Bachelor/Bachelorette.?

Since your young married minded young people can only marry someone of your faith. Aren't your conventions just a large scale version of The Bachelor? For those of us who are older, its more like The Dating Game or Love Connection. Where else are they suppose to look if they want to go spouse shopping?

Update:

The shows were a comparison. I know conventions are nothing like what goes on in the shows. Call it an analogy.

The conventions are for spiritual up-building and fellowship with like minded believers. If you view it only as a way to find a mate, you would be sorely missing out on all the beautiful spirit information presented. Yes, some do meet their future mates but many do not, many develop this relationship with those in close congregations or their own. If we keep our minds on serving on Jehovah and keep our singleness in prayer, often it happens on it's own. If not, Jehovah loves us and supports us in singleness or marriage. (by the way I'm single so this isn't a been there and done that thing with me)

That's how you see it. J/W's do not have a rule that they can only marry people of the same faith, they simply say it is preferable. If you'd really like to know what happens at a J/W convention, you should go along and find out, it's better than just guessing.
