Is your poetry better, worse, or non-existent so far in 2017?

I wanna come back home now, is my room still here?

well, i felt something, after a long spell of empty

and it was by engaging here...

Perhaps I should turn my mind to writing nonsense poetry or at least, a book of nonsense.

Come to think of it, didn't Lewis Carol do that - you know, his political satire couple, Tweedly Dumb and Tweedle Dee, reflecting the non existent difference between the Victorian Liberals and Conservatives here in England.

Well, so much for that, because now the USA really does have something 'different' - I just hope it's not going to explode. But then democracy has always been fraught with danger, the most dangerous part being 'we the people'. Can we really trust us, the people?

I know, keep on voting until we get the result 'they' want.

Since I've had no muse or inspirations so far in 2017, my answer would be that my poetry has been non existent.

Haven't written a poem in 2017, bar a shorty tossed in in an answer here, earlier today.

I expect that my next poem will be better than previous work, but if it isn't I'll slit no veins.

Your question is probably better answered by saying, "My poetry gets better as I get older, more sophisticated. But, but, but . . ."

My poetry is getting better. I am trying to write more bright poems for this year so I can show more of the happiness that I'm trying to bring into my life.
