Why does Scientology use a cross as a symbol when it has nothing at all to do with Jesus Christ/Christianity?

The cross used as a spiritual symbol predates Christianity by quite a lot.
The Scientology cross is not a crucifix (a symbol of Christ on the cross). It is a spiritual symbol that represents a very key basic principle or tenet of Scientology called the 8 Dynamics . If one looks at it ,rather than just "react" to it, one observes that this cross has 8 points or 8 intersecting lines.
These represent the 8 parts of life thro' which each individual is seeking to exist and survive .They are the urges or dynamic thrusts, towards existence in 8 different spheres of action and create across which each individual is seeking to survive in life and living:
Dynamic 1 Self
Dynamic 2 creativity, sex, family unit, rearing of children
Dynamic 3 Groups or as a group, race, etc
Dynamic 4 Mankind
Dynamic 5 All Life forms, including plants, animals, birds etc
Dynamic 6 Physical or Material Universe(Matter Energy Space & Time)
Dynamic 7 Spiritual Universe, spiritual beings, life source.
Dynamic 8 God, Supreme Being, the infinite,or as infinity.

Nothing about Scientology makes any sense, also the Egyptians used crosses too as religious symbols way before Jesus birth

I would guess it is for the same reason that Christianity used it. The cross was an ancient symbol used by many pagans. Sun crosses predating Christianity by thousands of years were found at Stonehenge. The Ankh and Thor's hammer are similar symbols of power and life.
Christianity only started using the cross when it was trying to get pagans to turn to their religion. The Scientologist's cross would also make former Christians more comfortable in the new faith.

It is mainly recovery, pretending to be what they are not and giving a scrambled image to followers
PS : crosses are very ancient symbols, older than Christianity.
