Used Drano for toilet, didn't work. Should I be worried for damage?
So my roomate poured Drano Max Gel into our clogged toilet, almost no water in it at the time. We then flushed it about 15 minutes after, it didn't do **** so now we have a toilet bowl almost full of water and diluted Drano.
My question is will leaving it as is overnight damage the porcelain of the bowl? I'm sure it would if it was as is, but this gel is diluted with at least 2 liters of water...should we remove as much water we can and flush again to dilute whatever's left. Or can we leave it as is for tomorrow so can unclog it with the plunger that I asked my roomate to bring, that we won't have till tomorrow?

Lots could be said, but mostly too late and 'scolding, whatever. Diluted as it is, it likely won't damage the toilet bowl, but can easily get splashed out by proper (aggressive) plunger use, getting on floor, you, etc. So, yes, I'd ladle out what (fluid) I could and move that much to any nearby drain, sink or tub, with a trickle of water going there. Then, before using a good plunger (full-sized, and best with a pop-out bell for toilet bowls, about $10, not some cute $1.50 POS from the department store), add enough water to perhaps half-fill the bowl.
This now gets to about where you were in the first place. If the plunger doesn't work, next thing would be getting a toilet "snake", or "closet auger". I wouldn't wait for your roomie, especially if they go to the same place where they bought the Draino. They either didn't get any help, or got really bad advice. Once everything's done, cleaned up, and over, y'all take a minute to read the Draino container: "Not for use in toilets."
Gonna be OK.

Get a quality plunger that seals well and pump it until it flushes down. This isn't rocket science here, it's elbow grease.
You'll get a plethora of dumb answers, you would be better off calling a drain service guy. DO NOT pour hot water into the toilet, this will melt the wax toilet flange seal and cause you to have to remove the commode from the floor. 99% of the time, it's those GD tampons that hang up at the pipe transitions and plug up the 4 inch toilet street drain elbows.
If your clothes washer and basement rinse tub drain OK, it's doubtful that you have a plugged up sanitary street line.
Power snaking a toilet can be disastrous in old houses with soldered sheet lead toilet elbows, think before you do it!
It's easier to pull the toilet out in an old house to access the flange, repairing old plaster lath is the reason for the care.
I bought a rental property that was 90 years old, after some idiot power snaked the toilet, I had to rip the ceiling out and and epoxy wrap repair the toilet elbow going into the main 4 inch drain stack, then install a false ceiling to cover the demo needed to access the upstairs toilet drain pipe.

I don't think the drano will harm the toilet. If you are worried about it just dip most of out with a paper cup and pour it in the shower drain, then put more water back in the toilet bowel to dilute the mixture a couple of times.

No, it won't damage the bowl, but with few exceptions Draino is about useless for toilets. The plunger is the most useful, most often. If a plunger won't get it, a snake will. A plunger is about the same cost as a bottle of Draino and works many times, instead of one. Next time, skip the Draino and buy a plunger
