How to make sugar from pure corn starch? For fermenting purposes.?

I'm planning on making a distillers beer (mash) from pure corn starch. I don't like mashing with bulky grains so I am curious how a pure grocery store starch mash would turn out. So far I plan to use enzymes to convert the starch to sugar, but the main issue I am running into is knowing how much starch to add. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks

you cant just pitch yeast into starch.

it needs to be converted by enzymes to sugar.then sugar is fermented.

if just plain converted starch is used it will be tasteless.(and you need nutrients)

if this is what you want and you have cheep corn starch go for it.if not go to store

buy corn sugar or corn syrup, and nutrients.
