Don't you think science is becoming relative to many people, just like religion is? Shouldn't we Christians be aware? (Explanation bellow!)?

Science is inside our comfort zone (or our "safe space", and tells us not to drink soda all the time, to take care of the environment etc, and threatens us with diseases and ecological disasters if we disobey.

However, the world doesn't turn their back on God, so that scientists can tell them what to do.

How many times I hear "I don't believe in medicine", "I don't believe in climate change", etc. As if they were all something too spiritual to understand, and just a matter of "personal belief"!

We Christians should know where this is leading!

They will say it's all made up, and it only want to make some people rich. We have to argue about things that were solved decades ago. And if someone in our circles makes a mistake, they will say they have no reason to trust us any more. If we have debates, they will say we disunity.

Meanwhile everything is just an "opinion", a theory of a Facebook group might just be as valid as they years long research of a Nobel-prize winning scientist!

Science is "becoming" relative to many people? Seriously? No. Science makes your entire life what it is. Every time you get into your car and drive it. Every time you come on the internet and post this kind of foolishness. Every second of every day, your life is bound to science. Electricity. Do you use it all the time? Does a refrigerator keep your food cold? Do you go to a doctor when you're sick? Do you use a phone (cell or landline)? Do you watch TV or go to the movies? The list is never-ending.

And, the average Facebook user is an utter moron. To compare them with Nobel-prize winning scientists is asinine.

Science benefits every one of us. It has checks and balances to ensure it is as correct as possible. Without it we would still be hunters and gatherers.

Religion takes us in the opposite direction, back toward ignorance and the cave.

Christians who deny science are lying to themselves, and they should leave the house, car, TV set, computer, and medicine along, as it is all 100% scientific ion nature.

The blatant duplicity of religion is obvious and dead wrong, but that doesn't matter to those who sell it and profit from it, the money trumps honesty every time it seems.

"Science is inside our comfort zone"

    Not really.

Science is our way of gathering knowledge while making sure that it is actual knowledge about reality.

Science does not tell anything about drinking soda. Science provides you with knowledge about the consequences of drinking soda. What you do with that knowledge is up to you.

You can not obey science. You can make good decisions or bad decisions. Knowledge about reality helps you to predict which decisions are probably good and which are less good.

But kind of yes, many people are stupid and uneducated and do not know what science actually is.

Here's the problem with your argument.

Science uses evidence to reach conclusions.

Christians start with conclusions, and then use or ignore evidence to support the conclusion.

"...if someone in our circles makes a mistake..."

50% of US Christians do not accept Evolution.

That is not " 'some' of you".

That is why science requires that you prove what you say, they want the truth.

Religion appears to center on being too ignorant to understand or desire truth.

Objective science validates the Bible, not evolution, space aliens, etc.
