99 silverado e brake light blinking and beeping while driving?

I can't get the sound to go away. I checked the brake fluid and it's good. There is a beeping noise the whole time while I'm driving except when I stop. It is a manual transmission if that helps any.

It means your parking brake is applied. Yukons have this warning feature too - it's fully described in your owner's manual. If you find that the brake isn't applied, you either have a stuck sensor or a stuck brake linkage.

And no, your transmission doesn't affect your brakes.
