Screen Resolution error?

My Screen resolution is 1490x900 but this yahoo screen keeps coming up and says

Your screen resolution is set below our minimum recommendation of 1024 x 600 pixels.

For a better experience,try increasing your screen resolution.

what gives it is above their recommendations, how to get this to stop coming up when i go into my yahoo? Thanks

    Sorry I meant 1440x900 that is more than recommended and i know how too change it, but it at its highest so there is nothing to change, i just need to stop that screen from coming up for it does not have the same resolution as it keeps saying it has 1024 x 600

    the display drivers are all up date.

    Set your screen resolution in control panel > display settings.
