In America, what systemic privilege or legal right do men have that women don't?

Men have the right to walk down a street after dark without fearing being raped or assaulted

Men have the right to move up the corporate ladder because the boss isn t concerned he will be taking time off to have a baby

Men have the right to knock up as many women as they want and walk away, no financial/emotional responsibility because they don t have to carry the child around INSIDE them for 9 months

Men have the right to VIAGRA being covered by health insurance while women still have to pay out of pocket for our birth control

Give me a break people... if you don t understand that MEN have the clear advantage in this society, you have your eyes closed. Wake up.

Well, had you asked me ten years ago, I would have said that most states define a woman's residence in terms of the husband, so that a woman who lives in state A and marries a man in state B, even though she never stepped foot in B, as may happen with a college student, becomes a resident of state B at marriage. The woman would lose voting rights, in-state tuition and so forth. However, with marriage no longer based on sex, it is difficult to say how the courts would rule on that. There may be a handful of systematic differences in a handful of states that have never been challenged in a court, but I don't think any important ones remain. Although, as I said, had you asked me ten or even twenty years ago, I may have been able to give you a decent sized list.

The biggest one I can think of is the "right" to have to support HER kid, when SHE forgot her birth control.

You can tell there aren't any or there would be feminists all over this like a cheap suit.

There are places where they are allowed to wonder around topless where women are not allowed to. This is usually a matter of town or state law.

Other than that, I've got nothing.

Oh yeah ... and the ACA gives them a free prostate test under some circumstances.

There are no federal laws advantaging men over women, there are several that advantage females over males however. I few states don't allow women to go topless where men can.
