Jesus didn't write anything. He did write something in the sand. All Jesus did was die and resurrect. Pretty famous person for doing so little. The New Testament was written by Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Paul, James, Jude, and Peter.

The Bible is a collection of more than 60 separate documents.

Jesus did not author any of them.

Paul authored 13 relatively short documents, making up about 4.8% of the entire Bible. So: about 95% of the Bible was authored by people other than Jesus and Paul.

There are *at least* 40 different authors

The Biblical documents were authored over a period of **at the very least** 600 years

The Biblical documents were authored in three different ancient languages

The Bible does not have AN author. The Bible has 60+ documents, and each of those has an author.

As mentioned when referring to Paul, some people authored more than one Biblical document.

But there are still at least 40 different authors.

AND...many of the documents have an unknown author or authors. For many of the documents, the author simply is not identified in the document.

Jesus never wrote any parts of the Bible, if He did, then those parts would literally have been written by God.

The Bible is inspired by God. His words are quoted directly, though. They're outlined in red letter edition Bibles.

Some 40 men wrote the 66 smaller books that comprise our Bible, over a span of 1,600 years.

Jesus wrote nothing of it, but eye witnesses who spent years with Him recorded many of His sayings and deeds.

Three quarters of the Bible had been written hundreds of years before Jesus was born.

Paul wrote a fair chunk of the last third of the Christian Greek scriptures, which came to be known as the New Testament. The first two-thirds came to be known as the Old Testament. Both parts are vital to make sense of who Jesus is and why Christians believe what they believe about Him.

A collection of half baked authors with too much time on their hands. The bible is but a fairy story for the feeble minded.
