What would happen if I removed the time release in Concerta?

I have taken a few of my friends 54mg Concerta extended release pills, I felt a bit jittery, a lot more alert, and really spaced out during the day, I'm wondering if i remove the time release mechanism, what would happen? serious answers only please.

You could experience a potentially hazardous peak of the medicines effect. The truth is that you can't remove the time release agent from the medicine anyway. it is part of the formulation of the drug itself. If you were a competent chemist, perhaps you could however, you certainly aren't because you wouldn't be asking this question!
