Instead of a USA Mexico wall why not dig a deep trench, cheaper too?

    Well if we are going to dig a trench that long and deep enough to stop people from crossing the border anyway then we may as well make it a canal while we are at it.

    Actually a trench is two walls you need to build, rather than one. Otherwise the trench gets all filled up. Even then, a trench is just a place to throw garbage.
