Why are gamers so sexist.?

Unfortunately most hardcore gamers are just loosers who don't know how to socialise with women.

haha. Just kidding.

I once had a friend who kept on putting me down for being a female gamer. I'm really good at God of War and resident evil, but he tries to demotivate me "you're a girl. you wont know how to play". I thought he was joking, but everytime I tell him that I defeated a particular boss in less than five tries, he would be like "so? I dont care" when he actually was botherd by it. ALOT. He starts getting over dramatic later on.

I introduced him to a game called Undertale and later, yandere simulator. I love undertale, and because of my obsession, he began to associciate undertale with 'girly things'. He used to tell me "It's ok. I know why you like undertale :) because you're a girl and girls dont have reflexes" (we'll I live with people from under developed countries,and many of them are still sexist).

But I never talked about my gaming achievements to him again. Why? Because I saw, everytime I did something better than him (especially in gaming and anime), he would be put down. You see he's been struggling with insecurities. He has a crush on me, so he tries to act manly and ****,but I can see through him. He once told my friend on chat that he has a hard time with being accepted. Girls don't appreciate him and think he's weird, (except of me and my friend).

He's a skinny guy, so he hits the gym everyday to get muscles. I was concenered about him, so I asked him "are you insecure? It's okay to tell me, I want to see you out of it". He then told me "I'm just trying to piss you off haha. I'm a guy and I dont tell my problems to anyone"

But still, after that, he's trying to prove his "mascuinity", he still gets botherd by my gaming achievements.

This is called toxic masculinity darling. These weak guys who bully women on online games are insecure, and they are intimidated by women who are better than them. This even happens in parliaments, where women get interrupted the most. But not ALL male gamers are like that. There are SO many gentlemen I've met through online gaming. And these gentlemen don't care what gender you are when you play games. All you need to do is realise that they are unhappy and insecure inside, and secretly crave attention, but don't want to admit it :) . Don't take anything they say seriously. Gaming was never made only for men, it's just that the amount of female gamers are less, and we should encourage more women to play.

But hey, the Undertale community isn't sexist, and neither is the Yandere Sim community :D

But the next time an *** hole tells you "go back to the kitchen", tell them "At least I know how to be independant, unlike you, still depending on women to make you a sandwich"

I think it's because some guy gamers 'think' girls can't do boy stuff. I've seen girls playing games like CoD, Overwatch, etc and tbh, they're actually really good at gaming. There are some girls out there who can become a gamer and they even do really well at it. People shouldn't judge others because they think others can't do specific things e

g. gaming, but we know that inside, people are who they are and we should respect their personality.

I think all games are not sexist. Only adult games are sexist.

gamers arent sexist, some are sexist, but no matter what group your talking about there will be at least on sexist or one racist, saying all gamers are sexist is slightly hypocritical tbh, gamers cant help there being ***** in there group, they are completely different personality trates that have no relation to one and other

Becuase gamers are sensitive losers that jack off to porn in their bedrooms all day.

My daughter place lot fps, she is good too, but the haslle she gets on mic, from sexist to downright abusive chatter, she 26 now, been a gamer all her life, just like her dad lol, and i am proud to say she a better player than me at fps, and i am not too shabby myself :)
