JW doctrine has gone clear off the rails. Their own teaching is that Jesus rose from the dead spiritually, and that the body is either preserved somewhere as a "memorial to God's love" (their words) or has "dissolved into gases" (their words, too.) Denying the actual resurrection, they deny the actual Christ, all the while thinking they revere him. Similar in some ways to Islam in that regard. Both Christian heresies.

    Forgive me.

1 Timothy 6:16 who alone possesses immortality and dwells in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see. To Him be honor and eternal dominion! Amen.

Jesus has been given immortality, no man has seen him or can see him.

When Jesus appeared to Paul, it was as an unapproachable light.

    Acts 9:3 As he was traveling, it happened that he was approaching Damascus, and suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him;

In John 14:19 Jesus said that the world would see him NO MORE. So which is it?

The bible is what is called "Faction” A fictional story set in a factual time and place. Thus the time, place and real historical characters are all correct but the fictional characters and stories are not!

There is not one single mention of Jesus in the entire Roman record - that is right - not one! At the same time as he was supposed to have been around there were a number of Jews claiming to be the messiah - all of whom are well recorded!

There is not a single contemporary record from any source and even the bible mentions of him like all other references were not written until many years after his supposed death!

He was supposed to have been a huge problem to the Romans and produced wonderful miracles but still not one contemporary record?

Even the bible mentions of him like all other references were not written until many years after his supposed death!

Pilate is recorded in the Roman record as a somewhat lack luster man but no mention of a Jesus, a trial or crucifixion that would surely have been used to make him look brighter!

At best he was an amalgam of those others but almost certainly never existed!

Not one word of it is contemporary with the period and was not written until several hundred years after the period the story is set in!! How did the apostles write their books more than a hundred years after they would have been dead?

Christianity is an invention of the Italians and that is why it came from the Holy ROMAN Catholic church!

Please realize that those claims for the Old historians are worthless since they were not even born until long after everyone in the stories would have been so long dead!

    Josephus AD 37 – AD 100

    Tacitus AD 56 – AD 120

    Suetonius - 69 – 130 AD

Pliny the Younger, 61 AD – 112 AD

Justin Martyr (Saint Justin) AD103–165 AD

Lucian - AD 120 -180 AD but he was hostile to Christianity and openly mocked it.

    Pamphilius AD 240-309 AD

    Eusebius AD 263 – 339 AD

    Photius AD 877 – 886 AD

Thallus - But there are no actual record of him except a fragment of writing which mentions the sack of Troy [109 BC] Showing that he was clearly not alive in biblical times.

Some even try to use Seneca. 4 BCE – 65 CE but as a Stoic Philosopher he opposed religion yet made not a single mention of a Jesus or Christianity!

Even funnier is trying to claim Celsus AD ? – 177 AD Who said that Jesus was a Jew who’se mother was a poor Jewish girl whose husband, who was a carpenter, drove her away because of her adultery with a Roman soldier named Panthera. She gave birth to an illegitimate child named Jesus. In Egypt, Jesus became learned in sorcery and upon his return presented himself as a god.

An ancient set of lead tablets found in Jordan in 2008 showing the earliest portrait of Jesus Christ have proved to be 2,000 years old and say that Jesus and the disciples tried to recreate a religion from the time of King David!

Jehovah's witnesses have false beliefs which are straight from Satan who deceives. They don't believe in Trinity, the deity of Jesus and Hell. If that is true, then the Bible is not true. God is a Triune God and Jesus is the ONLY Savior and only way to Heaven. John 10:30 - “I and my Father are one.” The Bible says, “No one who denies the Son has the Father, whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also” (1 John 2:23)

People will not see Jesus with their literal eyes. As a mighty spirit, he emits his own light. No human being can bear the intensity of his glory and luminosity. - 1 Timothy 6:16; Acts 9:3-9; Re 1:16; 1 Peter 3:18.

People will see him with their assessing, analyzing "eye." They will "see" him with their "eyes of discernment."

EDIT: What you said on Luke: A spirit being is not made of matter. After his resurrection, he materialized different human bodies to become visible to his disciples. A materialized human body has nothing to do with the actual "looks" of a spirit being. Because of their spirit nature, they have spiritual bodies.

    1 Cor 15:40, 44-45, 47-48

And there are heavenly bodies and earthly bodies; but the glory of the heavenly bodies is one sort, and that of the earthly bodies is a different sort...If there is a physical body, there is also a spiritual one. So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living person.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.

...The first man is from the earth and made of dust; the second man is from heaven. Like the one made of dust, so too are those made of dust; and like the heavenly one, so too are those who are heavenly.

Obviously, those humans who go to Heaven to serve as Kings and Priests with Jesus during his thousand year reign over the Earth, will see him. and work closely with him all during that thousand years!

I am afraid they are right we cannot see a spirit person.

1 corinthians 15:50 says flesh and blood cannot go to heaven. Which he did.

It also says that those who pierced him will see him?? they have been dead for over 2000 years.

A lot of things in the bible are not to be taken literally.

But I think you will know when he comes back by the things he does. If the wicked all die and the righteous are left on the earth. you would know he was back.

Does Christ come in a body of spirit or of flesh?

Jesus was resurrected with a spirit body, so he comes as a spirit creature, not in the flesh. (1 Corinthians 15:45; 1 Peter 3:18) For this reason, Jesus could tell his apostles on the day before his death: “In a little while the world will see me no more.”—John 14:19.

    Common misconceptions about Christ’s coming

Misconception: When the Bible says that people will see Jesus “coming on the clouds,” it means that Jesus will come visibly.—Matthew 24:30.

Fact: The Bible often associates clouds with something hidden from view. (Leviticus 16:2; Numbers 11:25; Deuteronomy 33:26) For example, God told Moses: “I am coming to you in a dark cloud.” (Exodus 19:9) Moses did not literally see God. Likewise, Christ ‘comes on the clouds’ in that people perceive his coming even though they cannot literally see him.
