Everything I eat makes me gassy?

This has been happening for as long as I can remember.

I get bloated, gassy and burp after eating most foods. Sometimes it's so bad you can hear the gas inside of me.

For example, for breakfast I had oatmeal and a glass of water. Right now I am gassy and burping.

Anyone know what causes this? Or how i can fix it?

It's so embarrassing.

Try stirring a pinch of baking soda into oatmeal, soups, beans, etc.

You may have Irritable Bowel Syndrome, which can make you bloat and fart a lot - you'd have to ask a doctor about this (it'll be a lot more embarrassing for you than the doctor: they're used to being asked questions like that). The other reason that people have those problems is because they can't digest a certain food well. My mom got that with eating raw pineapple, for instance. More commonly, people get gas from lectins: there are lectins in grains, beans and dairy products, and more in unprocessed or uncooked versions. If you're lactose-intolerant and still drink milk regularly, that could be the cause.

It sounds like you might have IBS.
