If Satan is EVIL and tortures mankind?

How did God punish Satan, by giving him a job that he enjoys doing?

If Satan truly is EVIL, this concept seems like a reward?

"Here you go Satan, here are the men that you tortured...you can continue torturing them in an eternal hellfire."

If torturing mankind in an eternal hellfire was a punishment for Satan, wouldn't that mean that Satan does NOT want to punish mankind in an eternal hellfire?

Did God reward Satan?

I see all the usual lovely creatures have emerged their fetal heads from the womb of understanding to enlighten you Infinity! LOL

From your relative position, your question are great fun...a muse for other friends and fellow travelers to puzzle over, and of course not all of them will like it. They'll spit it out and say it's "of the devil" or chew on it and find it difficult to get down. Way more of them can't be ask to do anything b/c their heads are too full of Pollyanna or the current scientific paradigm, so, they'll just chalk it up as 'more of that God nonsense'. <--I say that, but these are my favorite! :) I mean, they have the right idea, many of them, to approach all this stuff with a skeptic's intention, to question, to hold fast to one of the most sacred things in our possession...........DOUBT! I'm from that school, and not just the wading pool, I've searched through the deeper leagues with a keen eye and ear. I've entertained the scientist and religionist both without tendency to presume that there is no baby in the bathwater, toss it all out, that kind of thing, listened to the sophistry of their fellows.

Just be careful about teasing the kids in the shallows, they mean well, and a lot of them are finding their way up the rough side of the mountain (so to speak) and it's a frustrating mess trying to discern what the hell all this spirituality gibbering is trying to point to for those who are sincere about finding out. But really most aren't...they're in it to pick a team and have a good sporting event. Spend enough time with them (it's fun and all) but if you get hung up on one side or the other it can get to where you don't hear the call anymore. People going to church start seeing what people want them to see (religious truths) and people who tend toward the hard and fast materialism just let reason and logic have everything, as though the universe/world/whatever is exactly what it appears to them to be. Keep the middle ground, the part where you find fit companions to talk to, and you keep your intent pure, and your efforts remaining earnest. Because with age, your head can just start to congeal around stuff very quickly and without your attention. It's a reality, and cleverness won't get you out of that...not your cleverness, not anothers'.

So however it is you happened upon looking for answers, real answers, not just the temporarily satisfied loop de loop that gets old and worn with time, keep your head on that stuff. Remember that it's important to have fun and not take things too seriously, but remember why you're here......you're looking for something and you're damned if you can remember what it is! LOL But it's important. Maybe when you were a kid you saw the utter insanity of people around you and thought "I have to remember not to do that" or "I can't forget this basic knowledge or I'll end up thinking of myself like they do..." or tried to imagine what the universe was before anything was in it, and what you were before birth. Maybe you had a completely different kind of experience, but regardless of what it was, it brought with it the kind of fear you have when you're just getting to sleep, you feel like you're falling, and then you immediately wake up in a panic, but relieved to not be falling. Keep it close to you b/c if you get the answer to that, it's worth more than anything you could ever try to hope for, and in Truth, if you're ready to take it, you're already there. After you know all, before you started.

That's really the only way it can be, and yes this is a good load of non-sense but there just isn't a great way to put any of this stuff into words. Just how it is...:)

    sincerely,

    no one in particular

Satan is not being punished for being who he is and he is not a created being, but the source of all evil and lies.

The angel who became Satan was originally a loyal servant, but allowed greed and envy to lead him into rebelling against his creator Jehovah God. He is only being allowed to rule temporarily here on earth (1 John 5:19), which gives us the opportunity to show Satan that we love our heavenly father in spite of his efforts to get us in a disapproved state like himself. When Satan is finally destroyed, the world will be back in paradise conditions with people returned to the state of perfection, which has always been Jehovah s purpose. It can be hard to believe this as we live in the current conditions, but the Bible teaches how all of this started and will end (see the video in link below). For more information about the promised future for the earth and mankind, see www.jw.org. Best regards.

Satan is certainly evil and causes much misery to people here on Earth due to his deceptions, but there is nowhere in the Bible saying he tortures mankind in hell!

If you want to know what the Bible says about hell and Satan, turn to Revelation chapter 20 and read from verse 7 to 15. Satan and his demonic hordes are cast into the eternally burning lake of sulphuric fire; "They will be tormented day and night fir ever and ever".

Then the dead are given resurrection bodies to stand before God for their judgment, and that means hell being emptied of all those in it: "Death and hell gave up the dead who were in them and each person was judged according to what he had done. Then death and hell were thrown into the lake of fire."

Now you know that Satan is not torturing anyone in hell (being tortured himself forever), you have the answer to your question - "No, God does not reward Satan." Many misconceptions about hell are due to Dante's 'Inferno' which was a work of poetic fiction culled from various sources and which is not biblical. See the link.

He has many followers who will be PUNISHED with him (these people aren't just innocent bystanders they have the same opportunity as all others; they CHOOSE to follow the devil and some may just be DECEIVED because they REFUSE the TRUTH).. GOD is JUST, they (the devil, his angels and the DECEIVED) will indeed get what is well deserved. Even while GOD's WRATH is in full effect. They (men) will curse and BLASPHEME.

    Yes. God rewarded Satan.

Satan, once called Lucifer was the greatest of God's creations.

    Lucifer was always God's favourite.

For God so loved Lucifer, he gave him the world.

Satan will not torture the inhabitants of hell. The correct one, Satan together with disbelievers and the sinners will be tortured in hell by the guarder of hell.
