(1) The president is protected from prosecution for things he does while in office by the Immunity Clause.

(2) There was no wire tap on Trump Tower. The FBI requested one back in 2015, but the FISA court refused the wire tap request. This is actually the first time I've heard of the FISA court actually refusing to a request. They approved all of Obama's drone attacks.

Trump is wagging the dog. The very serious charges Trump made against Obama are absurd, and probably came from Breitbart. *THE PRESIDENT HAS NO SUCH POWER TO ORDER THAT KIND OF WIRE TAPPING.* It would come from the FBI. The FBI would have to convince a judge that someone in Trump Tower was an agent of a foreign power before a FISA warrant could be obtained. No reputable US news organization has been able to confirm any FISA warrants in this case. People who are in a position to know about this have no idea what Trump is talking about.

We have two ways to look at this. One is accusing a former president of doing something illegal without any source. The other, if he is correct, you have a president doing something that is illegal. The current president is the ultimate arbiter of what is classified, so if Trump has evidence, he needs to present it.

Meanwhile, he should stay in the White House and save the taxpayers money, doncha think?
