Do any other liberals agree with Joe Rogen who feel's like a "Man without a country"?

Joe Rogen stated recently "When I was a kid my parents were hippies and I grew up thinking that the left was all the people who were trying to stop this unjust war in Vietnam and they were trying to enable he civil rights movement to succeed and enable free speech .... that's just not the case anymore! We are in some weird down is up and up is down time. And for people like myself who do have a lot of left wing ideas, you know? (People) who do support gay marriage, who do support so many (what you would consider) left wing ideas you (now) find yourself in a place where I'm so opposed to so much of these attacks on free speech and so much of the aggressive ... bullying. It's more of a mob mentality thing, (and) it's kind of scary. The Berkly thing with Milo is scary, ... and this is all just to justify some of the crazy thing that they are doing. (for instance) smashing Starbucks windows and lighting cop cars on fire. You know, all this chaos that you are seeing, that is being perpetrated by the left (for) someone like myself, I can not identify with that (and) I DO NOT understand it, and it puts me at odds with, ... I'm like a man without a country now."

Joe Rogen needs to realize that a liberal of the 1960's is a far different animal from the Progressives of today, who have hijacked the liberal movement.

I do know what he feels like, I used to think that Republicans were nice people who were just a little stuffier than most. But still, nice people. Now I don't see that anymore.

They're all about the greed, hate anyone not just like them, and don't respect any other point of view and carry on like children who finally got their way and gloat about it, without actually accomplishing anything to gloat about.

I think he's great. Kinda a liberal and libertarian at same time. He reminds me of Penn Jillet if you ever heard his views on religion and government and drugs and war.
