For the clarity, I m asking for the opinion of true conservatives, not Trumpest, or people who stand by the President "no matter what".

Too be clear, I m not saying that President Trump is doing a "good" job, or that he is a better person than President Bush, just that he isn t as bad as President Bush was.

If Trump is impeached, Pence will become president, and he's every bit as evil as President Trump but only half as stupid.

Wouldn't be better to keep Trump in the White House so we run against him, and paint all Republican's with the "Trump Brush"?

It seems like conservatives are going to back Trump no matter what (as they did President Bush) and only criticize him when he's out of office.

President Obama PROMISED to close down Gitmo but couldn't get it done in 8 years.

Trump promised to "repeal and replace" ACA on day one, but even with Republican house and senate he couldn't get it done.

Joe Rogen stated recently "When I was a kid my parents were hippies and I grew up thinking that the left was all the people who were trying to stop this unjust war in Vietnam and they were trying to enable he civil rights movement to succeed and enable free speech .... that's just not the case anymore! We are in some weird down is up and up is down time. And for people like myself who do have a lot of left wing ideas, you know? (People) who do support gay marriage, who do support so many (what you would consider) left wing ideas you (now) find yourself in a place where I'm so opposed to so much of these attacks on free speech and so much of the aggressive ... bullying. Everyone seems to be all worked up about President Trump and while I can't defend Trump I have to wonder if people are viewing the Bush presidency with rose colored glasses. It strikes me as hyperbole to say "Trump is the worst ever" when compared to the (literal) death and destruction left in the wake of President Bush.

"Dear White People" is a show (based on a movie) about a militant black woman in college who befriends a young white men (I think he's CIS too) and then she realizes that perhaps white people aren't the devil after all.

There are many people who I disagree with but I'd never want to shut them down, I'd want to give them the rope to hang themselves.

Were the rioters worried that Milo had a point?

In the wake of the UC Berkley attack/riot/meltdown how can we save the left? I do not like what my side has become.

A straw man is a misrepresentation of someone's position or argument that is easy to defeat: a "steel man" is an improvement of someone's position or argument that is harder to defeat than their originally stated position or argument.
