Females in the military under infantry ranks?

Based on recent investigations, there have now been various reports of a widespread problem in the military of men permissibly and impermissibly taking photos of nude and half nude females. Since I was raised as a military brat, I have always thought it naive to allow females in the infantry with young, testosterone laden infantry men.

I'm not asking for the ideal, but rather the realistic. Most men believe women should be allowed to do anything a man could do...but should the military allow it?

I have always been against it for the following reasons.

    1) men and women are built differently, physically and emotionally. Generally, men can handle things women cant, and vise versa. Combat jobs like Infantry and artillery are a more male leaning occupation because of the physical and emotional demands. I have seen women do the jobs, and do them well, but they are usually the exception and not the norm.

    2) Gender Segregation adds another set of issues and additional planning to every operation. It might work (somewhat) in other countries, but we have a society and culture that is not pliable with this. In our society, anytime someone feels disrespected, EO violated, harassed, etc, there are investigations, classes, and so forth. Other countries don't deal with that. This takes extra time away from missions and training.

    3) It could work, but it will be a process. You cant just throw something in the mix and expect that there will be no growing pain. Gays are still trying to adapt and be accepted and it has caused issues in units, real and perceived. During times of war is not the time for trial and error for our "social experiments". Soldiers have enough to worry about and focus on.

a few guys acting like azzholes, does not stop a determined female from doing her job, and acting just as professionally as any man.

the only thing that needs to change is the attitude and culture towards women.

As long as they are held to the same physical standards as men, and are not allowed to bang their co-workers on ships and while deployed like men, I don't see an issue with it. The issues start when they get preferential treatment solely due to them being a different gender. As long as that is avoided it can work perfectly fine. As for the whole taking pictures thing, can't a homosexual infantryman do the exact same thing by taking pictures of other men right now anyway? It's not exclusive to one gender taking pics of the other.

almost all the photos of nude female service members, were taken by the female service members and sent to someone else

they were not takin by people sneaking and taking them without the females knowledge
