How and why in the world do you find coding fun?

it gets you money

coding makes you think.it helps you to be creative.thats why i find it enjoyable

The main reason I like programming and have fun by doing it, is because it is very satisfactory when you make a program, an application, or even a internet-of-things-thing, after having worked so much to make it.

How and why do you not?

I never considered programming fun in school. But in the real world, you need to make things work, to invent things, and be creative. Programming is part of getting there, part of the building process. I find that even though I am not very good at programming, that it does allow you do do things that would be impossible otherwise, like building a self balancing robot, a sun tracker, a wireless digital scale, a weather station, etc.

For me, I've always liked figuring out how things work and playing with puzzles. Programming has both of those items for me.

I sympathize with your wonderment - I never thought I would enjoy coding but, I do.

I like figuring out how to make things work and designing something suited to my exact needs. I get alot of satisfaction out of it.
