motorcycles: Should it be a concern buying a 1995 Harley Davidson Dyna with 41,000 miles in excellent condition?
I have an indy mechanic to save on costs, but can I get parts for this 1995?
Thank you for your comments.

Check the road behind you for your HD parts. You can try draggin' a magnetic sweeper.

Evo Motor. Not a lot of miles. Should go about 75 to 100k before needing a top end. Parts are 3easy both from HD and the aftermarket. My daily ride at this time is a 1971 FLH and parts are easy to get.

You found the bike on line .. You can find parts on line just as easy..
do not waist time trying to find parts at a HD dealership though.
A 1995bike with 41.000 miles is in good shape not excellent..

You should know that not everybody shares your enthusiasm for the Harley Davidson motorbike nor the corporation behind it.
That said ... Just a word of caution .... I would place both hands securely over the ole' bung hole anytime you get close to any of their products or any of their corporate sales buildings ! ... And remember that product is so lame the corporation can not sustain itself on the production and sale of it's motorcycles nor survive without the sale of it's corporate licensed T-shirts.
I've said it for a long time and I am now advanced in age... but I still expect to live to see the demise of the Harley Davidson Corporation. ... and there go all the part supplies.

You can buy parts anywhere and everywhere for a '95. 41k is nothing....just give it a general going over, and it will last for many years/miles.

If you know how to sync a carb blindfolded, go ahead. If not, get your wallet ready as the mileage is sbout the time when Harleys ask for a second life.

That's a lot of miles for a Harley---depends on how well it was taken care of. In any event, I wouldn't pay very much for it. Claims of 100K are ridiculous. Go find one advertised with that mileage--there aren't any.
