Because Maddow was under the impression that the tax returns (which apparently she doesn't understand) would make Trump look like a crook and she would get massive ratings. Instead, it showed that he paid an appropriate amount of taxes, and did what he was supposed to-indeed he paid more in taxes than Hillary and Bernie. So now she looks stupid and since she has effectively 'popped the Liberal bubble' by proving he did nothing wrong, Libs are attacking her. The easiest way to piss off a Liberal, is to give them hard facts.

Remember when a bunch of Dems jumped ship? They KNEW better than to stand behind HILLARY. And now with these wacked out acid trippen Leftist progressives no one wants to claim them.

Liberals expected that Trump's tax return(s) would prove his undoing, but instead they showed someone who paid a lot of taxes (a higher tax rate than Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders or Barack Obama, for example). Maddow also disproved the lie that Trump has paid no taxes in the past 20 years. So rather than damage Trump, she's actually made him look marginally better.

Liberals have reacted to this unexpected bad news (for them) by blaming Maddow or--even more oddly--by accusing Trump of leaking his own tax returns (and thus duping Maddow into publicizing them). Either way, Maddow is beclowned. I guess they figure that Maddow should have realized that the tax return she had didn't make Trump look bad, so therefore she shouldn't have publicized it; but alas, she needed the ratings.

That really is bullshit. The only people attacking her are on the right.

Dream on. The tax records were probably released by Trump. He has a history of leaking things that are in his favor, and has done this many times.. Those of us who know him from New York recognized what was going on right away. We had more sense than to vote for him because we know his longtime methods of operation and his association with mobsters and con men of various sorts in NYC and abroad.
