Does there have to be semen for there to be sperm, for example if someone Masturbsted and ejaculated in the bathtub and his semen is there?

But it's exposed to chemicals and water but the semen is still there, would the sperm be alive?

    Nope, but clean up the tub anyway

    Sperm requires semen to transport it out of the penis. In a bathtub soap or shampoo will kill sperm, as will plain water in fact since temperature variances can kill sperm too.
