Do I need Xbox Gold to play games on Xbox One?
So I bought the Halo Master Chief for my Xbox One but my Gold expired. I know I need Gold to play online, but do I need Gold to be able to load the game up and play through the campaigns? Thanks.

If you're in the US, start using this service - Microsoft has a search engine - Bing, along with their own browser - Edge. Between PC and mobile devices, you can earn rewards by searching everyday, up to 300 points a day. Xbox Live Gold for 12 months is one of many rewards you can earn through searching. it costs 30,000 points to earn 12 months of Xbox live gold. if you search every day, it'll take around three months to complete. if you search for the year, you can earn around 36 months of gold. either make sure the digital code won't expire, and print it out and save it. or, i believe you can add up to three years of total Xbox Live gold on your account.
