Do I need glasses?
Hello so I had lasik surgery done (I was myopic -5 both eyes) when I got it done I was overcorrected after my surgery I was:
Left = +0.75 / Right = +1.00
3 months after I was:
Left = +0.75 / Right = +0.50
5 months after I was:
Left = +0.5 / Right = +0.5
7 months (Today) I am
Left = +0.5 / Right = +0.25
Now I am still having eye strain when watching tv, reading, or just even looking out in the distance.. But my doctor says not to have glasses because my eyes will keep changing.. She thinks my eyes will regress all the way back to 0 in both eyes or a tiny bit myopic by the full 12 months..
What do you think..
Im 22 years old and male

If you are 22 and have a normal visual system, +0.50 will not cause eye strain at distance. If you were 35, we would expect it to cause eye strain up close. Seems like something else is the problem.

Why not try the prescription. There is no medical downside. Might help.
I use http://www.zennioptical.com/ for my glasses. It is a DIY sort of thing but the prices start at $7 plus shipping with two week delivery.
