Feel free to watch him closely, and if he does anything that's clearly bad, you can let the boss know.
But you don't really have the right to act superior, or feel better than him, or treated like ****, or be an asshole, just because of his past.
He already went to jail, did his time, and hopefully learned his lesson.
There's nothing wrong with you being careful but you don't have the right to abuse him, curse him out, or try to maliciously get him fired IF he hasn't actually DONE ANYTHING to you yet. (And no, "being creepy" according to you isn't enough of a reason. Lol. He could label YOU CREEPY tomorrow couldn't he? It's not fair to do that unless he did or said a specific thing that was wrong.)
All that's going to do is cause trouble for you and it might even get you sued for defamation if you try to falsely claim he's still bad or dangerous when he hasn't even done anything wrong since that incident he did time for
Source(s): Also creepy is honestly a matter of opinion, that's really not something to get somebody fired for. For example if he looked like Brad Pitt you probably would not say he was creepy even considering what he did. But if he looks like Gollum from lord of the rings, he could be a straight-A student and a good guy and a church member and you would still say he was creepy! Let's be honest. So "creepy" isn't grounds for firing or anything else. No one is making you like him or talk to him tho, except as a direct part of your job. - Anonymous4 years ago
So....did he pay his time for his crime?
If he did.....it's NONE of your business!
Unless he is a direct threat by continuing his pattern....let him be!
Stop splitting and projecting!

And, what's your question?
Sex offenders do exist and they do get jobs once they've served their time, often they face prejudice in finding employment but it's actually hugely beneficial for sex offenders to find work as it prevents re-offending. Yes he did something wrong and he has paid for that, as long as your employer knows he's a sex offender and as long as he doesn't do anything he shouldn't then it's fine, if you find him creepy then just keep away from him and do your job.

I'd be careful of him, but I'd also say that you don't know everything about what happened. I don't know ANYTHING, but there's a good chance the girl told him she was 16. (have you known anybody who lied about her age?) No way for me to know, though.
