How to adjust DVD player to color playback?
Got a JVC 5QPB DVD/VCR combo that recently only plays in b/w mode. I have searched the settings & found no clues to allow for color. Suggestions?

Hi this old combination does not have a correct colour card within it for your colour tv system sounds like the old issue of NTSC and PAL systems.

Although Lee26Calloo's answer didn't lead me to the solution, it seemed to be leading me in the right direction. Thank you for your support.

GO TO SET UP MENU, CHANGE DEFAULT TV SYSTEM FROM PAL INTO NTSC. THAT MAKES THE COLOR COMING BACK.
THOSE DEVICES WERE MADE IN CHINA AND THEY WERE SET IN DEFAULT TV SYSTEM AS PAL ( CHINA AND EUROPE COUTRIES TV SYSTEM ). USA AND CANADA USE NTSC OLDER COLOR TV SYSTEM, THAT MAKES ANY NTSC COLOR TV COULD NOT SHOW COLOR FROM IMAGE FROM PAL SYSTEM.
