Enlist in USMC and then ROTC?

I am a 17 year old young adult, Since i performed badly in highschool, i am planning to enlist in the Marine Corps active duty (4 years) and then afterwards go to community college as a prior enlisted and do NROTC in it (my community college offers it in a conjunction with UOM), while then going to UOM (university of miami) to do my other 2 years, thus far getting a comission as a naval officer. Is this a solid/realistic plan for a military career? I love the marines and the navy, so I thought of doing first marines then navy.

Please no rude comments, blunt, goose, and any others should seriously learn manners and discipline themselves.

Loser is back. He talks about killing, yet, wants to be treated normally. Classic example of trophy generation being told they can do anything.

Not realistic at all. Your poor HS performance will still be a major factor, and unless you commit to a 4.0 in CC getting a contract to finish out the last years of ROTC is not likely. Furthermore you may end up no longer physically qualified esp if you end up in Infantry.

navy is a pretty blue. Navy is a branch of the military. marine pertains to life forms who reside primarily in the water. Marine is a branch of the military. Details count, especially if you want to be an officer
