Were your kids potty trained late, early, or around normal time?

My nephew Dillon was very late, he wasn’t potty trained until he was 5.5 years old and then only for daytime, he needs to wear Goodnites to bed now at almost 9 years old.

My niece Desiree (Dillon’s twin sister) was also pretty late, she wasn’t potty trained until a little over 4 years old, and then only for daytime (she wore Goodnites until 7.5 years old at night)

My other niece Lily Belle was pretty average, she was about 2.5 years old for daytime and 3 years old for night time.

My 3rd niece Dani Mae is only 8 months old and my other nephew Tobias is only 2 months old so not sure when they will be potty trained yet.

So just curious were your kids potty trained late, early, or around normal time?

My daughter and most of the kids in her daycare were potty trained by 2.

With the exception of 5 1/2 years, none of your scenarios are out of the ordinary. And even training at 5 1/2 can be normal, just on the later side. 4 years is not "late," and requiring overnight protection is totally normal until about age ten, and sometimes even beyond. That doesn't mean every child will need it, but there's absolutely nothing wrong with wearing Good Nights at almost 9 years old.

But there's a lot of odd unnecessary details in your post as well, which generally points to a troll anyway.

There could have been a medical reason that Dillion and Desiree were not potty trained until a later age. Enuresis is medical condition of wetting the bed at night and nothing that they can control. Kids potty train when they are ready and forcing them before they are ready only leading to frustration for parents/caregivers and kids. Hopefully this helps to shed some light on possible reasons for their delay. There are hotline counselors available 24/7 to talk to you should you have anything else you need to talk about.
