They rather do things they like rather than what the Bible says! (2 Timothy 4:3, 4) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the wholesome teaching, but according to their own desires, they will surround themselves with teachers to have their ears tickled. 4 They will turn away from listening to the truth and give attention to false stories.

Jesus knows the heart, he knows the meek and he brings the prayers of the meek(sheep like) ones to his heavenly Father Jehovah! It is then that 1 Corinthians 3:6 comes into play (1 Corinthians 3:6) I planted, A·polʹlos watered, but God kept making it grow,

Sorry. Imitation Christians still do what imitation Christians have always done. That is speak and teach twisted things. What do imitation Christians teach?

2 Timothy:16-18 Some were teaching the resurrection has already occurred

2 Timothy 3:13 speaks about imposters. What kind of men are the imitation Christian imposters? Verses 1-7 tell us clearly. These men are "be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up with pride, lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5 having an appearance of godliness but proving false to its power; and from these turn away. 6 From among these arise men who slyly work their way into households and captivate weak women loaded down with sins, led by various desires, 7 always learning and yet never able to come to an accurate knowledge of truth."

Could you expect these kind of "Christians" to embrace the real teaching of Jesus? Or would you expect them to love pagan ideas?

The apostle John at 1 John 2:18-20 tells us these are really anti christs. And they left the pure teaching which proves they are not real Christians. Sadly they have conned most men for centuries. But now they are getting exposed for what they really are.

Easter - by definition - is a Christian and not pagan holiday.

It is - by definition - the holiday commemorating the resurrection of Christ.

How many pagans were celebrating the resurrection of Christ before Christians began doing so?

Point #1 - Easter is by definition and historically a Christian holiday, not a pagan holiday.

The celebration of Easter - that is, the commemoration of the resurrection of Christ - clearly is based on the account of the resurrection of Christ from the Bible and not on any account of the ancient pagan goddess Ishtar.

Point #2: the holiday we call "Easter" indisputably "stems from" the Bible, not from "pagan sources"

There is NO known historical connection between Ishtar and Easter. NONE. That is a fantasy popular among some English speakers because of the similarity of the sound of the English words "Easter" and "Ishtar"...but that similarity only exists in two languages (English, German) and does not exist in ANY of the languages in which Easter is first mentioned and celebrated.

Furthermore: there is no etymological connection between "Easter" and "Ishtar". Rather, "Easter" is derived from the name of the Germanic goddess "Eostre".

Point #3: the supposed connection between Easter and Ishtar is pure fantasy with literally no known basis in fact.

YES!!! Satan's pagan celebrations are disgusting!!! The origins of Easter are rooted in European traditions. The name Easter comes from a pagan figure called Eastre (or Eostre) who was celebrated as the goddess of spring by the Saxons of Northern Europe. A festival called Eastre was held during the spring equinox by these people to honor her.

Why are these traditions so ingrained in Easter Sunday? And what do they have to do with the resurrection of Jesus?

    Well, to be frank, nothing.

Bunnies, eggs, Easter gifts and fluffy, yellow chicks in gardening hats all stem from pagan roots. These tropes were incorporated into the celebration of Easter separately from the Christian tradition of honoring the day Jesus Christ rose from the dead.

According to the University of Florida's Center for Children's Literature and Culture, the origin of the celebration — and the origin of the Easter Bunny — can be traced back to 13th-century, pre-Christian Germany, when people worshiped several gods and goddesses. The Teutonic deity Eostra was the goddess of spring and fertility, and feasts were held in her honor on the Vernal Equinox. Her symbol was the rabbit because of the animal’s high reproduction rate.
