Can I report a craigslist scam?
Someone from another country pretended to sublet my apartment for the summer and sent me a fake cashiers check. I was aware of the scam before, so didn't do anything with the check. Is there a way to report them, or anything that could actually be done since they're in a foreign country? I asked the local police and they said they can't do anything, but it there something else?

Nope, you didn't get burned so you lost no money
Very hard to get US law enforcement involved in out of country actions, and since you didn't lose anything, you suffered no loss
The FBI will not get involved either as notned said, YOU LOST NO MONEY, you are not a victim of a crime
