I was at prom dancing with my friends and one of my classmates saw me and said "LYRIC?! Omg you look amazing" and of course I said thank you. I was confused because he didn't want to go to prom with me and now he's giving me compliments lately. What does this mean?

Means you dress up/clean up better than he'd thought you would. Probably not a whole lot more than that. Guys like pretty girls but it doesn't necessarily mean that he "like likes" you. Don't bother yourself trying to second guess what a guy thinks and feels. If he's worth your time.. he'll declare himself.
The number one self induced torture is the time girls spend trying to second guess and interpret and re-assign meaning to things a guy says. He knows how to speak for himself.
