Which school looks better for Transfering to a top (ivy league) college in the future ?

Hypothetically if I'm in the top of my classes at RISD vs Rutgers NJ state school. Which is more impressive/ has more future opportunity branches?

Neither. It is almost impossible to "transfer" to an Ivy League university because the retention rate is 98% -- there are simply no open spots. Those few spots tend to go to students who are at universities that are nearly as good as those Ivy League School. RISD is a great art school. If you go there it is to pursue a career as an artist, not because you are an academic superstar. Rutgers is fine, but it isn't going to win out over the hundreds of transfer applicants from other better universities. Sorry.
