Do you think that publicly wishing someone dead is acceptable expression? How about cursing someone in God's name - just as bad, or worse?

This is not the same as threatening, and is not intended to incite anyone (other that God) to violent action. Does having influence change the situation?

yes, im guity of this, there is pain and torment that people will do to offend and harm and discomfort Gods people. and when they do such things unless they repent, they will die in their sins and find that they get a double portion of what they dished out to others. I would hope everyone that has harmed me stop listening to lies and false accusations, and repent so they can find forgiveness with God.

I think that publicly wishing someone dead is acceptable, albeit dangerous. As an atheist, I disregard being cursed in the name of any god, but this could cause some harm to a true believer. Having influence in the real world does change the situation, and might get the "wisher" charged with a crime if someone else acts acts on the behest, so it probably is not a really good idea. It could also result in a "proactive" self-defense. Unfortunately, there is no legal defense against a curse.

    Both are despicable.
